Meandering around . . .

Today is the birthday of Glen David Brin (born October 6, 1950), scientist and author. He graduated from the California Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in astronomy. He followed this with a Master of Science in applied physics in 1978 and a Doctor of Philosophy in space science in 1981.

David Brin has received the Hugo, Locus, Campbell and Nebula Awards. He is best known for his Uplift series of science fiction novels.
