Today is the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel (March 2, 1904 – September 24, 1991), artist, writer and cartoonist. He is best known as Dr. Seuss and for his book, The Cat in the Hat. His honors included two Academy awards, two Emmy awards, a Peabody award and the Pulitzer Prize."I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells."
